Katie’s doctoral research focuses on the development of assessment models specific to participatory arts-based HIV and AIDS education programs in the Southern African context. Her MA her thesis, Where are We Now? Qualitative assessment of participatory arts-based sexual health education in Canada, looked at how current youth-centered sexual health initiatives measure and show their failures and successes.
